So there we were last night, listening to Howie go through his intro, etc. when he said "Let’s get started…" and all of a sudden, no one could hear him.

Now, a little more on those results I was telling you about. Take a look at this screen capture of my web stats for my “You Cant Block This” software:

I launched in early June with no partners. You can see the amount of unique hits I was able to generate almost immediatley. July, same thing. Now, in August, I still generated a lot of traffic using a couple of Ross’s methods, but I also had partners launch, so that’s the reason for the spike.

September was much the same thing – over 2,000 unique visitors. And you’ll see even today, October 1st I had over 270 uniques by 6 PM (when the screen cap was taken).

Make no mistake – there’s no “magic pill” here. There was work involved here (shudder). But it makes doing the work so much easier when you have a guide to help you out.

Mixing Dollars

Blogging. I make the assumption here that you know what blogging is. Do you blog?

I have had a blog (or 10) for a while, but I have not done much in the way of things like search engine optimization, or monetizing them. I figured why bother…

Then I was checking some traffic stats on a few of my sites and discovered that I was getting some good traffic to a couple of my blogs. In fact, one actually gets more than 100 unique visitors a day!

That’s where I discovered what an idiot I was being. I didn’t even have any sort of name capture or Adsense or ANYthing on this blog!

So I went on a mission to learn more about making my blog more SEO friendly.

Up until now I was more concerned about having a nice looking theme than SEO. So when I tried to apply a few of the things I learned to one blog, I discovered that the theme I was using made things very difficult.

So, off I went on another mission. I visited a few of the blogs of some well-known marketers to see what they were doing (hey – find out what the successful people are doing and do the same thing, right?)

I found more than one using a very powerful system on their blogs that make SEO and putting ads, Adsense and just about anything else on their blog very easy.

It’s that time again.

It’s no secret that it’s easier to sell to an existing customer than to new customers. There’s already a relationship. That’s why upsells, cross sells and downsells convert so well.

Example: I launched a piece of software recently. It converted rather well at 7 – 8%. But the upsell converted at about 33%!

Let’s do a bit of math…

Let’s say I had 1000 visitors. That would be about 70 sales. At $27, that’s $1,890. Ok, that’s not too bad.

Now, if there was no upsell, that’s where it would end. But in this case there was a $37 upsell. So let’s see… 70 sales with a 33% upsell conversion equals 23.1 additional sales. So that’s an additional $854.70 for every 70 sales.

So, for the sake of scaling up, 700 sales, 33% on the upsell is 231 sales at $37 is $8,547 in ADDITIONAL sales.

Powerful, isn’t it…

Now, admittedly, that’s where I stopped. But there are SO many other methods for increasing your revenue that it boggles the mind.
